Privacy Policy

Last updated: 30 September 2026

1. Who we are

ShotPaper ("the App") is a document-scanning app for Android. It is published on Google Play and operated by the developer whose business name appears on the App's Google Play listing and whose website is shotpaper.vixapps.com ("we", "us").

This Privacy Policy explains what happens to information when you use the App and when you visit this website.

2. We do not collect your documents

The App is built to work entirely on your device. It has no account system, no server-side storage and no cloud processing.

3. Information stored on your device

The App writes files (images, PDF/TXT exports) and preferences (theme, filter defaults, app settings) to your device's private storage. This information:

Because we never receive this information, we cannot access, view, recover or delete it for you.

4. Android permissions

PermissionWhy it is used
CAMERATo capture document pages and signatures.
READ_MEDIA_IMAGES / READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGETo import existing photos or files when you choose them. Access is limited to the items you select.
WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE (older Android versions)To export a PDF or TXT file to shared storage.
Internet (declared for optional features only)The App has no feature that sends your documents anywhere. The permission is declared by the Android package manifest and is not used to transmit your files.

The App does not request microphone, location, contacts, SMS, phone-state or advertising-ID permissions.

5. Payments

If you buy ShotPaper Pro, the purchase is completed inside Google Play. Google acts as the merchant of record and handles your payment details under Google's own privacy policy. We receive only the transaction confirmation, the product identifier and, for refunds or support, the information you choose to send us. We never see or store your card or bank details.

6. This website

This website is a static informational page. It does not use cookies, advertising pixels or analytics. It loads three third-party resources, which means your browser contacts those providers and they may log your IP address and user agent in their own logs:

You can block those requests with a content blocker, an ad blocker or by disabling JavaScript; the page remains fully readable as plain HTML.

7. Children

ShotPaper is a general-audience utility and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, and because the App collects no personal information at all, no special protection for children is required. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Retention

We do not hold personal information, so there is nothing for us to retain or delete on our side. Data you create stays on your device until you remove it.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, export or object to the processing of your personal data, and to complain to a data-protection authority. Because the App and this website do not collect personal data, we cannot respond to a request for data we do not hold. Requests that concern data still on your device must be addressed directly to you, on your device.

10. Security

Keeping your documents on your device removes them from any server-side risk. Like any Android app, ShotPaper can only be as secure as your device: use a screen lock, keep the operating system up to date, and install the App only from Google Play.

11. International transfers

We do not transfer personal data internationally, because we do not process it. Fonts and icon styles loaded by this website are served by global CDNs, which is a transfer of technical connection data (such as your IP address) to the country of the server that answers the request.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the App or in the law. The "last updated" date at the top always reflects the current version. Material changes will be announced in the App's Google Play release notes.

13. Contact

For any privacy question, contact the developer using the contact details published on the Google Play listing for ShotPaper, or through the website shotpaper.vixapps.com.
